design for reuse

Both card & envelope are designed to be used more than once, giving recipients the  option to save what they love for reuse.  Cardstock relies on quality and durability to stand the test of time.  As a matter of course they will have a limited life cycle, but if reused only once, a switch has occurred where the normally discarded becomes loved again & the purpose of sustainable creation for longer lasting value becomes realised. 

Each colour card begins with having 3 note papers, for the option of being used for 3 times & the envelope backing allows for closure with limited creasing.  In the simplicity of reattaching a new note paper & leaving the envelope unnamed & ink free, the card set reveals itself as a special gift in itself. 

For the occasion of posting, the note card and envelope can be slipped inside the slightly larger postal envelope [available for purchase on product pages].  By keeping the colour shared envelope ink free, the recipient has the option of reuse. 

Reassembling the card item: 

Remove the 2 pieces of wool, add a new note and reloop from the back to the front, so the wool hangs over the colour.  Alternatively, the used note paper can be gently torn off.  When placing the card into the envelope, place the colour face forward & ensure the wool hangs straight.
